THE GHOST OF FITNESS

Hi Everyone!

After a weekend thinking about  how fitness is everywhere and all the ways how is exposed, I decide to write this post about how I understand fitness and from my own personal experience how I think should be.

Sadly, it looks like everywhere you look ,the most important think it is get that “perfect body” that everyone wanted, killing yourself at the gym just for get that ambitious goal,but maybe that body it won’t be inside if you forget that what healthy means.

Don’t get me wrong, It is good to be happy with yourself but the real meaning of fitness have to go  further than 3 months of training plan ,get the goal you were looking for and back to the track to your old habits.

Actually, Physical fitness is defined as a general state of health and well-being and, more specifically, the ability to perform aspects of sports or occupations. Physical fitness is generally achieved through correct nutrition, moderate-vigorous physical activity exercise and rest. (Owen, Neville, 2010. “Physiological and health implications of a sedentary lifestyle” ).

But, as we can find in Wikipedia, before the industrial revolution, “fitness was the capacity to carry out the day’s activities without undue fatigue. However, with automation and changes in lifestyle physical fitness is now considered a measure of the body’s ability to function efficiently and effectively in work and leisure activities, to be healthy, to resist hypokinetic diseases ( conditions that occur from a sedentary lifestyle) , and to meet emergency situations” and this is the definition which I love!. We need to train,we need to run and carry on a healthy lifestyle ,because it is a “care” that our body needs for life,not just for a training period or diet plans,which are a good way to help you to do the first step but they are not a miracle for life.

I know that it is hard to fight with those shadows,negative thoughts about ourselves,specially when you guys join to  a new class or new fitness activity thinking you will be the last one or you won’t be able to follow the pace, you need to believe it! Things like that make you strong and get some many psychological benefits too.

Self-confidence,independence,vigorous pace of life against  to feel lazy are another great benefits that if you give enough time to your body ,at least 6 months of constant routine,you will get the experience of this benefits and how you body will push you for #getoutthere and run,eat properly and get the happiness from a daily fitness activity.

In resume, just I want to say that body is not just about loss weight to have exact sizes, it is about care about you body to help you to develop a daily activities easier  ( Functional training)  with pain  free after work or negative thoughts without self-confidence, it is about BE HEALTHY AND FEEL HEALTHY.
